The OFA directly supports landowners to achieve good stewardship of their forest land. To us stewardship means working in the forest in way that promotes the health of the whole landscape. 

Forests are one of the most diverse and vibrant ecosystems on the planet. Ontario is blessed with a landscape that supports four distinct forest regions - The Carolinian Forest, The Great Lakes-St. Lawrence Forest, The Boreal Forest, and The Hudson Bay Lowlands.

With over 90% of Southern Ontario and 50% of Central Ontario privately owned, landowners play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing Ontario's natural environment. 

The OFA offers expert advise, programs, and resources to support forest landowners in the stewardship of the environment.
