The OFA directly supports and is a voice for landowners to achieve good stewardship of their forest land. To us stewardship means working in the forest in a way that promotes the health of the whole landscape.

Forests are one of the most diverse and vibrant ecosystems on the planet. Ontario is blessed with a landscape that supports four distinct forest regions - The Carolinian Forest, The Great Lakes-St. Lawrence Forest, The Boreal Forest, and The Hudson Bay Lowlands.

With over 90% of Southern Ontario and 50% of Central Ontario privately owned, landowners play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing Ontario's natural environment.

The OFA offers expert advice, programs, and resources to support forest landowners in the stewardship of the environment.
